What to Expect When You Come to a Worship Gathering
We know that when you walk into any new place, you’re not sure what to expect. I’ve been in that situation— walking into a church and wondering, “What will this be like?”
Things are pretty relaxed at LifeSpring (no pressure, no secret handshakes). You’ll be greeted warmly at the front door, and invited to grab a cup of coffee and a roll if you like. If you need help getting your kids situated, we’ll walk you through it. You’ll see lots of people just standing around talking— we really are a community, not just people who attend a church service together. You may be asked if you would like a nametag—it’s your call—lots of us wear them because it just helps us get to know each other.
Once you step into the worship gathering… well, the music is awesome (some of it exuberant, and some of it tender), and the sermons are rooted in Scripture and real life. We have several different pastors who speak, and you’ll really enjoy them as people and the things they have to say. We also share Communion each Sunday after the sermon; it’s just a time to receive the bread and wine, pray, and connect with your heart and God’s presence.
