Kids Programs


The 10:00 a.m. Sunday school program here at LifeSpring is called L.I.F.E.: Living In Faith Everyday. That is the goal of our program. We want to teach our children how to incorporate the lessons of the Bible into their everyday life.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”  Mark 10:14

We found a great curriculum for preschoolers though 5th grade that will help accomplish this goal called Buzz from Group Publishing. Buzz makes Bible learning fun!  Each week we’ll dig into God’s Word with creative activities, group discussions, and more.  Your child will build safe, healthy relationships with others and with God.

Café 6 is our new class offered to 6th graders.  This class meets in the Café area of the foyer.  Kids can munch on donuts while having discussions relevant to what is going on in their pre-teen lives.  They will delve deeper into the Bible as they never have before.  6th graders are also welcome to participate in any of the middle school activities outside of church.

Summer Sunday school in L.I.F.E.

Our regular pre-k to 5th grade Sunday school program runs from September to May. Our summer Sunday school program runs from June to August. And what a great summer Sunday school programs we have for L.I.F.E. Lessons of the Bible are brought to life through games, crafts, interactive storytelling and more.  Some past summer events have included . . .

  • Bible Baseball Trivia Game
  • Christmas in July
  • In-class Camp Out
  • Pajama Day while watching a movie
  • Yo Ho Ho Pirate Show
  • Kids Helping Kids Art Show
  • Movie and Game Days
  • And of course the End of Summer Party with a moon bounce, games, prizes, face painting and a raffle!

Childcare is available for babies and toddlers. We provide a safe and caring environment for our little tots. The nursery is available for babies up to 18 months. The toddler room is available for children 18 months to 3 years.

Kids Helping Kids was started to teach our children about the joy of giving to others in need. We also want our children to know that they have the power to make a difference in someone else’s life. We encourage parents to support their children with their giving ideas. Several times a year we challenge the children to go out into their community to raise money, collect items of clothing, etc. By going into the community the children are also raising awareness about people in the world that need a helping hand. Children have sold cookies, hosted garage sales, collected winter hats and mittens, and much more to help other kids in need. Money raised has been used to buy school supplies, scholarships, and medicine for underprivileged children in Joliet and Haiti.

We offer your child different ways to connect with other kids at LifeSpring by providing fun programs outside of Sunday school. Some past events include:
