Fran, Just want to let you know that you and Haiti invaded my prayer life again, this past weekend. Anne and I were on a silent retreat in Rockford. The facilitator of the retreat had set up 9 different pause point tables with varying themes. One table was entitled "Haiti". There she had placed photo albums, journals, a Haitian nativity set, and more and while leafing through one of the albums I realized she and her church have a mission near Jeremie!! That was one of the few times that I broke my silence and marched over to her and said, "I just have to talk...my brother-in-law is here (I pointed to her book where her own handwriting spelled out Jeremie) now! He is there now!"

Yes, we do take things like vitamins for granted. I'm realizing every day how pampered we are here and we don't even appreciate it. I'm thrilled that New Life for Haiti has provided us with this vehicle to do our little part to make this big impact, directly for the people of Haiti.

Just wanted to post to say thank you for sharing. This new setup on the website is great. It was also fun to have your call on the PA during service yesterday. Keep the creole coming in your posts. I'm enjoying the three way translation from Creole->French->English. See you soon.

It's truly amazing the things we take for granted here at home. Such a small thing as vitamins which most of us fail to bother with turns into a lesson there in Haiti.
