New Life for Haiti

Haiti is the poorest country in our half of the world (some say the poorest in the world). The unemployment rate is 80% and the typical family lives on less that the equivalent of $300 US per year. Pastor Fran and other from LifeSpring have been taking trips to Haiti for years to help with projects in different parts of the country.
But in 2005 we felt the Lord telling us it was time to pick one place and really make a difference there, so we walked into the Grande Anse River Valley on Haiti’s southern peninsula and said “Hi there!”. We’ve been building friendships in the villages of the Grande Anse, and building clinics and schools as well. Most children in the valley eat only once a day and are protein malnourished— only 15% can afford to go to school. We have a radical vision to bring education, healthcare, and nourishment to these children, and to help their families develop businesses and better agriculture.
We invite you to become a part of the New Life for Haiti family and help us literally change the world for the people of southern Haiti. You can learn more at NewLifeForHaiti.org.
